Memorial Day Weekend
May 22-25, 2008

A new "sister festival" of Jazz Aspen Snowmass, Sonoma Jazz + is a four day celebration of world-class music, food and wine, steeped in the European ambiance of California wine country.  The Festival matches the region's greatest Chefs and Vintners with diverse performances across a dizzying array of musical genres.  Sonoma Jazz +, a not for profit organization, supports regional music education programming similar to Jazz Aspen Snowmass.  SJ+ is quickly becoming a signature Bay area cultural event of national and international reputation.

Evening concert performances take place under a 3,000+ seat tent located at the Field of Dreams, centrally located to Sonoma's pedestrian friendly downtown plaza.  Additionally, guests can enjoy the perfect pairing of music and wine during the weekend afternoon Wine & Song Around the Plaza series.

JAZZ AT MARCIAC

The original Jazz Aspen Snowmass June 1991 festival was inspired by its prestigious sister festival in Marciac (southwest) France, a charming village of 1,000 in the rolling hills of Gascogne, near the Basque country.
